A remote-controlled water rescue robot (surface rescue device) is a self-propelled, remote-controlled rescue apparatus shaped like a powered lifebuoy. It can reach a person in the water at high speed from a distance and tow them back to shore. Maximum speed ≥3 m/s, remote control range ≥500 m (optional 800 m), capable of towing 2-3 people in the water simultaneously, IP68 waterproof rating, equipped with a positioning light/searchlight and automatic return-to-home, suitable for dangerous waters such as rapids, floods, and offshore rescues, reducing the risk of rescuer casualties.
It is a core piece of equipment for "unmanned early-stage rescue" and is often used in combination with boats and rescue poles.
Applicable scenarios: Swiftwater/flood offshore rescue, early arrival for pool/reservoir patrols, unmanned towing in hazardous waters.
Non-applicable scenarios: Extreme wind and waves or beyond remote control/endurance range (should be coordinated with boats); the on-scene commander's decision shall prevail.
