A floating pump is a portable firefighting/drainage pump with a built-in float that can draw water directly while floating on the surface. It is especially suitable for rivers, lakes, and reservoirs as well as urban flooding sites where there is no power supply or fixed pump position. Maximum flow rate ≥800L/min (approximately 48m³/h), maximum head ≥30m, outlet diameter 65/80mm, equipped with a two-stroke or four-stroke gasoline engine, manual recoil or electric start, capable of drawing water nearby for long-distance water supply or drainage pumping.
The built-in float enables it to draw water stably as the water level rises and falls, making it one of the most flexible water intake devices for flood control and emergency rescue operations.
Applicable scenarios: Water intake from nearby rivers, lakes, and reservoirs, long-distance water supply, pumping at waterlogging points, and complementing drainage pumping stations.
Non-applicable scenarios: Water areas with large particulate debris without filtration (a filter screen is required); specific conditions shall be subject to the actual site.
